Pennsylvania Lake Erie charter captains
Last verified
Charter boat operators and fishing guides need a Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission permit to work Pennsylvania waters, including Lake Erie. Permits run for a calendar year and expire December 31. A permitted captain displays the permit on a hat or outer garment while working.
How the badge works: when a Pennsylvania captain lists here, we compare the listing with PFBC's permitted charter/guide report. The badge appears only when the phone number or business name matches PFBC's report and the name on the PayPal payment matches a guide or business on it.

Anglers 16 and older fishing Pennsylvania's Lake Erie waters need a Pennsylvania license and a Lake Erie Permit, unless they hold a 1-Day Tourist license, which includes it. Which license?
